Kona Sportfishing's Capt. Jack is a spacious 43- foot Powerboat
Flybridge sportfishing boat with a reputation for its expansive size
and comfort for up to six guests. The design features a wide-open
cockpit area with a centrally located big game fighting chair. The
interior includes upholstered booth-style seating with a small galley
arrangement and is well ventilated. The vessel is well designed for all
ages with easy access throughout.

Our morning charter is 4 hours from 7:00 am – 11:00 am. Our
Afternoon charter is 4 hours from 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm. We depart
from historic Keauhou Bay, ideally located for quick access to some of
Hawaii’s most fertile fishing grounds.  These shorter 4-hour trips
primarily target smaller game using light gear for Aku (Skipjack
tuna), Yellowfin Tuna, and Mahi Mahi.  We will also troll for big game
fish; however we recommend chartering a 3/4 or full day of fishing
for the best opportunity at the big one!  We are happy to share a
portion of the catch with guests staying in accommodations offering
cooking facilities. Up to six passengers.

Our 3/4 day charter is 6 hours from 7am – 1pm.  We depart from
historic Keauhou Bay, ideally located for quick access to some of
Hawaii’s most fertile fishing grounds.   This trip allows for a sufficient
amount of time to target big game fish such as Marlin, Yellowfin Tuna,
and a variety of billfish as well as various small game. We are happy
to share a portion of the catch with guests staying in accommodations
offering cooking facilities.  Up to six passengers.

Our full day charter is 8 hours from 7am – 3pm.  We depart from
historic Keauhou Bay, ideally located for quick access to some of
Hawaii’s most fertile fishing grounds.  This trip is for the avid
fisherman looking for the best opportunity to make a catch.  On this
trip we target big game pelagic fish in Hawaii such as Marlin, Yellowfin
Tuna, and a variety of billfish as well as various small game. We are
happy to share a portion of the catch with guests staying in
accommodations offering cooking facilities. Up to six passengers.

Keauhou Bay is a historic area in the Kona District of the Big Island of Hawaiʻi located eight miles south of
Kailua-Kona. The name comes from ke au hou which means "the new era" in the Hawaiian Language. Numerous
petroglyphs and a Heiau are found at Keauhou Harbor.

The Keauhou Harbor Resort area includes the Sheraton Kona Resort & Spa at Keauhou Bay, the 22.9-acre,
Keauhou Shopping Center, two golf courses, timeshare, residential and resort condominiums.

The largest convention center in Kona is located at the Sheraton, just South of the bay. The 2,400 acres of the
resort are owned by a subsidiary of Kamehameha Schools which sponsors cultural events at the facilities.

There is a small boat ramp, used for some trips to Kealakekua Bay, and the Keauhou Canoe Club for canoe races.
